Riel House

Primary Intensive Long-Term Inpatient Treatment

Riel House is a specialized long-term program offering an all women's residence where mothers can keep their young children with them while they tackle addiction problems. Women have their own bedrooms large enough to fit mom's needs. Baby and/or older children can sometimes stay with mom. Riel House is staffed by specially trained counselors.


Answers to some commonly asked questions about Riel House:


- Riel House is a long-term treatment program. The minimum program length is 120 days.

- Sibling children may live at Riel House (up to six years old). Accommodation depends on available room.

- There is an initial seven-day therapeutic focus period.
