We offer flexible work hours based on educational needs within the framework of providing onsite services from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Interns must complete assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, discharge summaries, and individual and group therapy notes in the appropriate timeframe.
Caseloads are based on the intern’s availability with no more than 5 client hours per day recommended. A typical case load for a 32-hour week is 1 to 2 group therapy sessions and 14 to 18 clients. The environment is fast paced and requires the development of time management skills.

Opportunities for Full-Time Employment
Our primary training site is a high volume all-men’s intensive inpatient co-occurring facility, known as James Oldham Treatment Center, where the average length of stay for clients is 28-30 days. Triumph also provides training at our pregnant and parenting women’s and all-women’s inpatient co-occurring facilities. Triumph’s client base is 97% Medicaid and over 25% homeless/unhoused.
Triumph interns have the opportunity for full-time employment following the completion of their internship. There are several factors that impact an offer of employment including performance during internship, openings available for placement, and overall fit within the structure of the co-occurring environment. Triumph may also be used as a reference when applying for positions outside of our agency upon completion of the internship program.
