Triumph proudly celebrated its newly remodeled Inspirations facility on January 28, 2026, marking a major step forward in expanding access to care for women experiencing co‑occurring substance use and mental health challenges. The project—supported by state capital funding and generous community partners—increases capacity from 16 to 34 beds and elevates Triumph’s ability to deliver integrated, whole‑person care in Yakima.
During the ribbon‑cutting ceremony, speakers emphasized the theme of light—the light of recovery, hope, and possibility. Jolene Seda, CEO, highlighted the organization’s mission and the community effort that brought the facility to life, while Board Secretary, Laura Crooks, shared a message from State Senator Curtis King honoring the collaboration that made the expansion possible. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jamie Simmons described how the new space enables seamless clinical, psychiatric, and medical services to support stabilization and long‑term recovery.
One of the most powerful moments came from alumna Chanelle Surginer, who shared her journey from homelessness and reoccurrence of symptoms to rebuilding her life through the support she received at Inspirations. Her story illustrated the transformation the facility aims to bring to every woman who walks through its doors.
The event concluded with gratitude to donors, partners, and staff, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting and guided tours. Inspirations now stands as a beacon of hope and healing—shining a light on new possibilities for the women Triumph serves.
