Triumph Treatment Services receives funding from MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund

The Mental Health Outpatient Clinic at Triumph’s Genesis Building is now open and serving the community thanks to partners like MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund.

Yakima, Wash. – As of March 20, 2024 Triumph Treatment Services (Triumph) has formally launched a new service line for access to mental health services thanks in part to funding from MultiCare Health System’s Community Partnership Fund. The Fund –which focuses on building partnerships to advance initiatives, programs and projects that improve our community – awarded $10,000 to Triumph to support community programming in 2024.

Outpatient Mental Health services at Triumph help individuals struggling with mental health symptoms. We help clients learn how to manage emotions, form healthy relationships, and deal with stressful situations. These crucial skills serve clients for years to come, helping them to live purposeful lives and move forward with health and hope.

Stephanie Aguilar, Triumph’s Clinical Mental Health Supervisor, is overseeing the launch of these services. She says, “Access to mental health services has been an issue that has been recognized globally. We can address these barriers for our communities to be able to access mental health services to continue to promote positive well-being and resilience. Through Genesis Mental Health Outpatient, we will be able to serve a multitude of individuals and continue to instill hope and foster the skills necessary to be able to cope with life’s challenges and celebrations.”

MultiCare’s Community Partnership Fund has given millions of dollars in the past eight years to hundreds of groups across the state to support programs that improve the health and well-being of communities. The Fund supports organizations in Pierce, King, Thurston and Kitsap counties focused on addressing housing and homelessness, food insecurity, health care and children’s needs. In the Inland Northwest, the fund supports organizations that focus on behavioral health, children’s health, dental health and food insecurity.

“Investing in programs that contribute to the health and well-being of our communities is paramount to our mission of partnering for healing and a healthy future,” said Marce Edwards Olson, chief marketing and communications officer for MultiCare. “By partnering with community organizations, we are able to help ensure essential programs and services are available to address a wide range of needs.”
