We are honored to announce that Triumph has been awarded a generous MultiCare Community Grant in support of our Early Learning & Childcare Support Services for Pregnant & Parenting Women enrolled in treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. This investment from MultiCare directly strengthens the safety net for families navigating the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

Every year, our program serves approximately 150 women and 95 children—each with unique stories, strengths, and hopes for their futures. Thanks to MultiCare’s partnership, we can continue to provide high-quality, trauma-informed childcare and early learning services that help mothers in treatment heal while maintaining their vital bond with their young children.

Breaking Cycles, Building Futures

Substance use disorder impacts entire families—and without intervention, its effects can continue across generations. Parents in recovery often carry the weight of their own trauma histories, including Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Children of parents with untreated substance use disorders face elevated risks of disrupted attachment, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.

Our trauma-informed continuum of care is designed to change that story.

By providing coordinated behavioral health treatment, early childhood services, and access to social support such as housing, transportation, and employment resources, Triumph helps stabilize families and create pathways to long‑term wellness. Our partnerships with more than 20 community agencies further extend this network of support across the region.

This comprehensive approach doesn’t just help families survive—it helps them thrive. Ultimately, these services contribute to reducing future alcohol‑ or drug-exposed births and breaking cycles of intergenerational poverty.

A Partnership for a Healthy Future

MultiCare’s mission to partner for healing and a healthy future aligns deeply with our own. Their support ensures that mothers in treatment don’t have to choose between getting help and caring for their children, a choice no parent should ever have to make.

We are profoundly grateful for this investment in the well-being of women, children, and families throughout our community.

Together, we are building stronger foundations, supporting resilient families, and creating healthier futures for the next generation.
